The Invictus Games Sydney 2018 was the fourth edition of the international adaptive multi-sport, held from 20–27 October in Sydney. It featured around 500 wounded, injured, or ill military personnel from 18 nations competing across 13 sports - with events staged at Sydney Olympic Park, Sydney Harbour, and the Opera House. The Games inspired widespread public support (105,000 spectators, 27.5 million reached globally) and sparked the creation of Invictus Australia, ensuring a lasting legacy of veteran-directed sport and community rehabilitation
