The 2029 Asian Winter Games, officially the 10th edition, was planned to take place in NEOM's Trojena region (Saudi Arabia) during winter 2029, marking the first-ever Asian Winter Games in West Asia and the Arab world. The event was planned to feature events across ice and snow sports and had implemented an innovative and unique streamlined Organising Committee framework and approach. In early 2026, the event was relocated to Almaty, Kazakhstan.
